T1: What parents can do to make their children successful in school?

　　I think every child has the power to succeed in school and every parent can help. First they should be role models. Children tend to do the same things as their parents do. What parents say and do in their daily lives can help children to develop positive attitudes toward school and build confidence in themselves as learners. Parents should let them know the value of knowledge and use it in daily lives. Second, parents should build and keep strong ties to children’s schools. When parent are involved in their children’s schools, the children do better and have better feelings about going to school. All these help them be successful in school.

　　T2: Some students prefer to study for a very long time but only once during a week. Others prefer to study for several short times during a week. Which way do you prefer and why? Please use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

　　I prefer to study for several short times during a week. I have a couple of reasons for this. First, I can easily get tired after I study for a long time and my efficiency can hardly be guaranteed. I usually gain the utmost efficiency in the first one hour. After that I can hardly learn more new contents. Second, I can hardly remember what I learned last time if I only study for a long time once in a week. I need to review what I have learned from now and then. Thus I prefer to study for several short times during a week.
