苗族古歌
苗族古歌是苗族古代先民在长期的生产劳动中创造出来的史诗。其内容包罗万象，从宇宙的诞生、人类和物种的起源、开天辟地、初民时期的滔天洪水，到苗族的大迁徙、苗族的古代社会制度和日常生产生活等，无所不包，成为苗族古代神话的总汇。2006年，苗族古歌被列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。

Miao Ancient Songs
Miao Ancient Songs are pieces of an epic created by Miao ancestors through a long time of productive work. They cover a wide range of subjects from the birth of the Universe, the origin of human and species, the creation of the world and the fierce flood in the primitive period; to the big migration of Miao ethnic group and their ancient social rules and daily work and life, etc. Therefore, they became a collection of Miao ancient fairy tales. In 2006, Miao Ancient Songs were included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
