北海舰队一般指中国人民解放军北海舰队，是中国人民解放军最早的海军部队，前身为华东解放军海军支队，作为御林舰队，其在过去很长一段时间内曾经是中国人民解放军海军(北海舰队、东海舰队、南海舰队)三支舰队中实力最强、装备最为精良的一支。

The North China Sea Fleet generally refers to the North Sea Fleet of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It is the pioneer naval force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Its predecessor is the naval detachment of the East China People's Liberation Army. As the kings-guard fleet, it has always been the strongest and best-equipped fleet among the three fleets of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Those three fleets are the North China Sea Fleet, the East China Sea Fleet, and the South China Sea Fleet.
