　　在同声传译中要特别注意英语中通过词汇手段表示的隐含被动意义。常见的有：

　　1、名词或物主代词修饰名词

　　如：his promotion(他被提升)，the dissenter’s exile (持异议者的被流放)，the minister's discharge (部长的被解雇)，his nomination(他被提名)，等等。

　　2、介词短语

　　如：on penalty (受罚)，on the shelf (受到冷遇)，in the custody of(在……监护下;被拘留)，under the influence of (受……的影响)，under the attack (受到……攻击)，under criticism(受到……批评)，等等。

　　3、形容词(短语)

　　如：be welcome(受……欢迎的)，be subject to(受……制约的)，be deprived of(被……剥夺的)，respectable(可敬的)，unmistakable(不会被误解的)，等等。

　　被动语态的翻译并非那么简单，短短的—个章节的同传培训不可能面面俱到。在翻译的过程中，我们还要注意结合使用其他同传技巧，同时我们也要考虑到讲话人的情感和观点，以决定是否保留被动等因素。
