　　The new height of Mount Qomolangma, the world's highest peak, is 8,848.86 meters, according to a joint announcement by China and Nepal on December 8.

　　Mount Qomolangma is an important symbol of the China-Nepal traditional friendship. China and Nepal should push forward their strategic partnership of cooperation featuring ever-lasting friendship for development and prosperity, and work together to build a closer community of shared future benefitting both countries and peoples.

　　12月8日，中国和尼泊尔共同宣布世界最高峰珠穆朗玛峰的最 新高程为8848.86米。

　　珠穆朗玛峰是中尼两国世代友好的重要象征。中国和尼泊尔要推动两国面向发展与繁荣的世代友好的战略合作伙伴关系不断向前发展，共同打造中尼更加紧密的命运共同体，造福两国和两国人民。
