  Dear sir or madam,

  I am writing in regards to the sudden andunannounced cancellation of my reserved flight forJuly 24 from Denver to Detroit (ConfirmationNumber: 772WB7; Airline Ticket Number: 0122150942247). Nobody called or emailed me totell us that this flight was cancelled. I missed animportant business meeting with my client as a result. Yes, I was put on a later flight, butimagine my outrage and fury when I walked into the empty conference room three hoursbehind the scheduled meeting!

  I want an explanation and compensation for the inconvenience. And calling it“inconvenience” is putting it mildly.

  我写这封信是为突然而未经通知地取消了7月24日从丹佛到底特律的航班。这次航班的确认号是772WB7,票号是0122150942247。没有人打电话或者发邮件告诉我航班已经取消了。我因此错过了和我客户的一个重要的会议。虽然我乘坐下一班飞机去了,但当我走进会议室时,会议已经结束三个小时了。

  我需要你们对为我造成的不便给一个解释。用“不便”一词已经是很客气了。
